I am a computer consultant specializing in database developments and live in the beautiful Hertfordshire, commuting everyday into London to make my living.
I was born in Germany but left when I was 20 years old to live in South Africa. A few years ago my family and I moved to the UK.
My interest in photography started at a very early age. Documenting my travels started at the age of 7, extended into the teens when I was the feared reporter of nightly parties on school trips. Since then it was always a meaningful past time and a lifelong hobby.
I am still a follower of the analogue photography and do the film development (BW,C41 and E6) myself. Of course do I own digital cameras but my heart is still with the traditional (I should I rather say old-fashioned) way. I still have my first SLR camera, a Nikon FE, which I bought in 1978.
Now I decided to take my photography to the next level and enrolled in the OCE BA (Hons) Photography degree. I always felt that there a lot I a can improve on in my photography. So I hope that the course will take me there.
